Meet Our Speakers and Panelists
Diane Umunyurwa is the CEO of G-HiTech, a Belgian start-up focused on innovative energy solutions. At G-HiTech, they believe that everyone, every business, should have access to affordable electricity. With this belief at the heart of their mission, G-HiTech is committed to making electricity more accessible and affordable in Africa to support the continent's development. To achieve this, the company has developed a unique solution that combines technology and business innovation to reach a wider audience.
Diane holds a master's degree in engineering from ULB and has over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, with a strong passion for low-carbon energy solutions, including nuclear and solar power.
Anne Everars has a strong background in leading software delivery and service transition projects. Currently, at Colruyt Group's Smart Innovation Division, she specializes in optimizing processes and fostering team collaboration. Before, Anne has successfully managed complex projects, including the migration to a new core insurance platform at Capgemini Invent. With a keen interest in innovative technologies, user-centered design, and project governance, she is dedicated to leveraging cloud migration and AI adoption to enhance user experiences. Anne holds a Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction.
Hanne Hoskens is a Computer Vision Engineer at Colruyt Group’s Smart Innovation Division, where she applies her expertise in computer vision and Python to develop innovative solutions. Prior to this, Hanne was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Calgary, supported by prestigious fellowships, where she worked in human genetics and computational biology. She also held a postdoctoral role at KU Leuven's Medical Imaging Research Center, focusing on 3D imaging and image registration. Hanne holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven, specializing in medical imaging.
